Who is responsible

This website is operated as Topsoil Cost Calculator. Privacy questions and data requests go to [email protected]. We do not operate user accounts. There is no customer database of calculator jobs.

What we do not collect

Measurements you type into the topsoil, sod, or sand calculators stay in your browser. We do not transmit those numbers to our servers, and we do not store them after you leave the page. We do not ask for your name, address, or payment details to use the tools. We do not request your device location or precise geolocation. If a browser permission prompt ever appears, it is not from this site asking for GPS.

We do not sell lists of visitors. We do not build remarketing audiences from health, religion, sexual orientation, or other sensitive categories. The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-138KDFPR1E to understand which pages are used and whether the tools load. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers and receives standard request data such as browser type, approximate region derived from IP, and pages viewed. We use this to fix broken pages and to see whether a guide is being read, not to identify you by name.

Advertising and cookies

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense or other authorized Google advertising services. Those services use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, to limit how often you see an ad, and — if personalized ads are enabled — to show ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites.

Blocking analytics cookies does not change the calculator math. How long data lasts

Calculator state is session-level in the browser and is gone when you close the tab unless your browser keeps a form cache. Analytics and ad identifiers follow Google’s retention settings. Emails you send to us are kept long enough to answer the question and then as ordinary business correspondence.

Changes

If we add a new analytics or advertising vendor, or if we begin collecting a new category of data, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. The terms and disclaimer cover use of the estimates themselves, which is separate from privacy.
