The calculators and guides are free to use for planning. They are not a contract to deliver soil, sod, or sand.
Acceptance
By using topsoilcostcalculator.com you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the tools. We may update the terms; the page title area will show that this is the current version.
License to use the tools
You may use the calculators and guides for personal or commercial planning — sizing a backyard, quoting a small job, teaching a crew how the 324 rule works. You may not scrape the site to republish the same calculators or guides as your own product, wrap the pages in an app store listing as if you built them, or overload the host with automated requests.
The formulas (area × depth ÷ 324, 1.35 tons per yard, 10 sq ft rolls, 450 sq ft pallets) are standard identities. The copy, layout, 2.5D scene, and worked examples are ours. Linking to a page is welcome. Copying a guide onto another domain is not.
No professional services
Nothing on this site is engineering, surveying, or licensed landscape architecture. Results are estimates. Density, moisture, truck packing, pallet size, and how a supplier rounds a load all change what arrives. Confirm quantity, grade, and delivery with the business that will dump the material. Read the disclaimer before you treat a screen number as a purchase order.
Accounts and payments
There are no user accounts and no checkout. If you send email to [email protected], you are not creating a paid support contract. We reply when we can.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is. We are not liable for over-orders, short loads, failed lawns, drainage problems, or delivery charges that differ from an on-screen range. Your sole remedy for a tool you dislike is to stop using it. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
Third-party sites and ads
Links to Google Ads Settings, suppliers you choose, or other sites are outside our control. Ads, if shown, are served by third parties under their policies. Clicking an ad does not make us a party to that transaction.
